Job Title
Power and Inverter Installation Supervisor
Location:  Main project areas in Lagos and Nigeria
Lagos & other major project sites in Nigeria

Job Responsibilities/Key Responsibilities

  1. Scheme design: According to customer needs and load conditions, complete
    the design and selection of photovoltaic systems, energy storage and inverters
    (including single-phase/three-phase systems, grid-connected/off-grid solutions).
    System Design – Prepare solar PV, ESS, and inverter system designs and sizing based on
    client load requirements (single/three-phase, on-grid/off-grid).
  2. Technical consulting: Provide customers with power solution consulting and
    answer technical questions in the project.
    Technical Consultation – Provide advisory services to clients, addressing technical issues
    during the project lifecycle.
  3. Installation and implementation: lead the team to complete the system
    installation, wiring, debugging, to ensure that the project complies with IEC, NERC,
    SONCAP and other standards.
    Installation Execution – Lead team to complete installation, wiring, and commissioning,
    ensuring compliance with IEC, NERC, SONCAP standards.
  4.  Installation supervision: Supervise the construction of outsourced or
    subordinate teams to ensure safety, quality, schedule and budget control.
    Installation Supervision – Monitor subcontractor or team installations, ensuring safety,
    quality, schedule, and budget control.
  5. After-sales and maintenance: responsible for inspection, troubleshooting
    and maintenance after system operation, providing customer training and long-term
    technical support.
    After-Sales & Maintenance – Conduct system inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs;
    provide client training and long-term technical support.
  6. Team Management: Manage and train a 5-15 person installation and after-sales team to improve team skills and work efficiency.
  7. Project documents and reports: complete project design documents,
    installation reports, test reports and after-sales services records, and regularly report
    project progress.
    Project Documentation & Reporting – Prepare project designs, installation/testing reports,
    and service logs; provide regular project updates.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and
    Electrical Engineering or related majors (priority given to those with COREN/related
    certifications).
    Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering (COREN or
    relevant certifications preferred).
  2.  More than 5 years of experience in PV/inverter/energy storage system
    design, installation, commissioning and operation and maintenance.
    5+ years’ proven experience in solar PV, inverter, and ESS design, installation,
    commissioning, and O&M.
  3.  Proficient in electrical drawing design, selection calculation,
    cable/protection configuration, able to independently complete system design and
    audit.
    Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, sizing calculations, cable/protection selection;
    able to design and validate systems independently.
  4.  Have installation supervision or project management experience, can
    control the construction quality and safety.
    Experience in installation supervision or project management, with strong quality and
    safety control.
  5.  Familiar with after-sales and troubleshooting, able to quickly solve inverter,
    battery, distribution and other related problems.
    Proficiency in after-sales and troubleshooting of inverters, batteries, and distribution
    systems.
  6.  Possess team management and training capabilities, able to lead a team of
    5-15 people to complete large projects.
  7. Good communication and client-server awareness, able to adapt to business trips and multitasking environments. Strong communication and customer service mindset; able to travel and multitask.
