Job Summary
The Solar Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building customer relationships, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets within the Lagos region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B/B2C sales, a good understanding of solar energy solutions, and proven success in managing sales pipelines and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.

Generate leads, pitch solar solutions, and convert prospects into clients.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Conduct site assessments and collaborate with the technical team to design suitable solar solutions.

Manage the end-to-end sales process including quotation, negotiation, contract closure, and after-sales support.

Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly to ensure retention.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar technologies, market trends, and competitor activities.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.

Represent the company at client meetings, events, and trade shows in Lagos and surrounding areas.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in solar, energy, or technical sales.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Solid understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and installation processes (a technical background is an advantage).

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.

Knowledge of the Lagos market and a strong professional network is a plus.
