  • Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment
  • Studying each recipe and gathering all necessary ingredients
  • Cooking food in a timely manner
  • Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
  • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Modify recipes to meet needs and requests
  • Monitor food stock and place orders.
  • Order food supplies and track inventory

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
  • Hands – on experience with various kitchen equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
  • Proficiency in making local and continental dishes
  • HND or OND
  • Punctuality
  • Good communication skills
  • Courteous
  • Integrity
  • Evidence of a culinary degree or training
  • Male preferred
  • 3 – 5 years experience as a Chef
