Job Description

Our Client, an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Company based in Lagos Nigeria who engage in the importation, distribution and support services of ICT is seeking to employ Electronics Engineers to develop solutions to meet customers’ needs

Job Responsibilities

  • Bring product concepts to life and develop next-generation improvements by analyzing information about past products and current trends, turning ideas into specific design requirements for a manufactured good
  • Use software to perform circuit analysis, run simulations, create schematic drawings and produce wiring diagrams
  • Prepare bills of materials, expense schedules and manufacturing process cost reviews with a goal of reducing expenses while maintaining product reliability
  • Review calculations performed by junior engineers and are ready to consult on issues that arise on the production floor
  • Recommend modifications to existing designs and prototypes based on performance in quality tests and customer feedback
  • Provide technical guidance and price estimates to sales staff in response to custom order inquiries
  • Develop user manuals for print and web that include detailed how-to, maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty information
  • Work with the patent office, control agencies, and other outside parties to protect intellectual property and ensure compliance with governmental regulations
  • Design new electronic devices and systems
  • Operate electronics software to evaluate and improve systems
  • Conduct research into new software and devices to keep the company at industry standards
  • Train colleagues on new software
  • Oversee the creation of new products and document the progress of each project
  • Evaluate products and create a system to test designs
  • Ability to identify and install software and other devices needed for each project
  • Experience training staff on new software

 

Job Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, electronics engineering technology or a closely related discipline

Professional engineers must have good Maths Skills.

Must be an analytical candidate with superb concentration

Must have In-depth knowledge of circuit design and modeling

An engineering master’s degree or five years’ experience in a design capacity is an added advantage.
