A leading Private Group of Schools in Lagos with Day, Boarding, and Tertiary Institutions is seeking experienced and dedicated Caterers to join its team immediately.

Employment Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
Slot: 4 Positions

JOB SUMMARY:
The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing all catering operations across our school campuses, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and nutrition for students and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Plan, prepare, and supervise daily meals for students (day & boarding) and staff
– Lead, manage, and train a diverse team of kitchen staff
– Manage day-to-day catering operations, inventory, and food costing
– Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health standards
– Monitor kitchen budget and minimize waste
– Ensure timely meal service across all sections
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
– Proven hands-on experience as a Caterer / Cook / Kitchen Supervisor (School / Hospital / Hotel experience is an added advantage)
– Demonstrated leadership ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
– Strong knowledge of food preparation, catering management, and nutrition
– Good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
– Ability to work under pressure and manage large-scale cooking
– Minimum of SSCE / OND / Catering Certification. Higher qualification is an advantage.
– Must be neat, organized, honest, and have good communication skills
– Must be resident in Lagos and available to resume immediately
