Job Description
OVERVIEW:
The Quality Control Officer will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. He will ensure that the business’ products conform to standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To carry out daily quality inspection of various products being produced on all machines.
- To inspect assembly line to ensure all production passed through assembly meet acceptable level of quality standards.
- To carry out random checks ensuring packing of different products in bags is as stipulated in terms of quantity.
- To develop recording documents related to various quality parameters checks for in-process, assembly and customers rejects products.
- Ensure to maintain hourly product weight report on all the machines.
- To check and confirm that colours matching are within acceptable limits for different products.
- To random check and monitor quality aspects of the finished goods.
- To maintain a daily logbook of entire activities of quality inspection and submit a monthly report to G.M. highlighting areas facing quality issues & points where corrective actions are needed to improve an overall quality of products.
- Regularly advice management on ways to improve quality on products, packaging, colors.
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Pro-active with good communication and management skills
- The ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
- Must have excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making
- 5 – 8 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing company
- Familiar with injection molding
- Good computer skills
